**Overview**
 AFCEA is a member-based, non-profit association for professionals that provides highly sought after thought leadership, engagement and networking opportunities. We focus on cyber, command, control, communications, computers and intelligence to address national and international security challenges. Our vision is to be the premier information technology, communications, and electronics association for professionals in international government, industry and academia worldwide.

**Mission**
 AFCEA international is dedicated to increasing knowledge through the exploration of issues relevant to its members in information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities. Tech Talks are a platform for government and industry leaders to discuss innovative solutions to challenging problems.

**Objective**
 We facilitate seven virtual Tech Talks annually followed by a networking happy hour in the evening.

This year’s conference is being held in Antwerp, Belgium's second largest city and home to one of the world's most beautiful rail stations. It is famous for its history, beautiful architecture, local beers and being Belgium's fashion capital.

Each year at our Annual Conference, we honour George Parker Bidder and Harold Woolhouse with two key Plenary Lectures. These lectures, along with the Cell Biology Plenary Lecture, are given by scientists prominent in their field and are nominated by the committees of their respective sections.
